MOVE-OUT QUESTIONNAIRE

We’re sad to see you go. Saying good-bye is never easy, but we’ll try to make this as seamless as possible.

- Packing up: Bulk items should be placed at designated locations on the loop roads. Need a hand with bulk removal? Just give us a call at 212.420.5000 option 1 and we’ll get you scheduled.
- Need help moving? URBN Playground can help. Click here for their questionnaire to help you reserve a moving company.
- Keys: You can return your keys to the Leasing Office (252 1^st Ave) or pop them in the Drop Box located in the Resident Services office (276 1^st Ave Loop)
- Security Deposit: Our Accounting Department will refund your security deposit after you’ve submitted your Notice of Termination & Release and restored your apartment to its original condition. Please be sure to include your new address, so we know where to send it.

Important Note: You remain in legal possession of your apartment until you return your move out paperwork and keys. To avoid an additional charge, please return your keys by 11:59pm on your vacate date. Email moveout@stuytown.com for assistance.

We Are Here To Help

We know that moving is no fun. We just have a few small requests to help make it easier on everyone.

- Be A Good Neighbor: Please be considerate of your neighbors and the buildings. Keep voices down, avoid door slamming, just normal consideration things.
- Please Use the Right Entrance: Move-ins/outs are only permitted through the Terrace Level (T) in StuyTown or Lower Level (LL) in Peter Cooper Village.
- Use the Designated Elevator: One of the building’s two passenger elevators will be protected with padding specifically for your move. No pad there? Sorry about that. Call us at 212.253.3679, and we’ll install it quickly. Elevators are available for use from 7am until 7pm.
- Exterior Doors: We ask that doors not be propped open. This poses a security risk where unauthorized people can gain access. This is a big deal to everyone who lives in the building.
- Please be Careful: You are responsible for any damage incurred to the building or property during your move.
