What you Need to Know

      1. Who to Contact: 
        • The Welcome Center is here to assist for your first 45 days as a resident. 
        • Resident Services is your go-to support center 45 days after your lease starts. 
      2. Keys: You can pick up your keys at Resident Services, located at 276 1st Avenue Loop.
        • If your lease start date falls Monday-Friday, keys and access cards will be ready at 4pm on the day prior to your lease start.
        • If your lease starts on Sunday or Monday, keys & access cards are available Friday from 4 - 6pm. If pickup is needed outside of these hours, contact us at 212.420.4949 to make arrangements.
      3. Parking During Move-in: Moving trucks can park on the loop road nearest to your building: First Avenue Loop, 14th Street Loop, 20th Street Loop, the Avenue C Loop or Peter Cooper Road. There are no permits necessary, however, parking on pedestrian pathways is prohibited. 
      4. Parking Your Personal Vehicle: Have a car? Take our parking survey here.
      5. All Those Boxes: Now that you’re all moved in, you can throw out those moving boxes, just break them down and put them next to the recycling bins located on the T level (StuyTown) or LL (PCV) of your building. Any bulk items you might have can be placed at one of our designated locations.

Making the Move

    • Please Use the Right Entrance: Move-ins/outs are only permitted through the Terrace Level (T) in StuyTown or Lower Level (LL) in Peter Cooper Village.
    • Use the Designated Elevator: One of the building’s two passenger elevators will be protected with padding specifically for your move. No pad there? Sorry about that, call us at 212-598- 5233 and we’ll install it quickly. Elevators are available for moving from 7am-7pm.
    • Exterior Doors: We ask that doors not be propped open. This poses a security risk where unauthorized people can gain access. 
    • Please be Careful: You are responsible for any damage incurred to the building or property during your move.

Paying Rent

Rent Portal: Log into app.beamliving.com (using the credentials set up during lease signing) to manage payments.
